The AMC7823 is a complete analog monitoring and control circuit that includes an 8-channel, 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC), eight 12-bit digital- to-analog converters (DACs), four analog input out-of-range alarms, and six GPIOs to monitor analog signals and control external devices. Also, the AMC7823 has an internal sensor to monitor chip temperature, and a precision current source to drive remote thermistors, or RTDs, to monitor remote temperatures.
