MCP3905L是一款支持IEC 62053国际能源计量规范的能源测量IC。该设备的输出包括与输入处的平均有功(实际)功率成比例的频率以及与用于仪表校准的瞬时功率成正比的较高频率输出。MCP3905L包含两个可编程增益高达16的16位delta-sigma ADC,可实现小型分流表设计,用于测量宽范围的Ib和Imax电流。集成片上电压基准具有每摄氏度15 ppm的超低温漂移。片上还有一个用于有源(实)功率计算的固定功能DSP。MCP3905L为低功率仪表设计提供了减小的校准输出频率脉冲宽度和机械计数器驱动。
