EMC2103是一款符合SMBus标准的风扇控制器,最多有3个外部温度通道和1个内部温度通道。风扇驱动器可以使用两种方法操作,每种方法有两种模式。这些方法包括基于RPM的风扇速度控制算法和直接PWM驱动设置。模式包括手动编程所需设置或使用内部可编程温度查找表基于测量的温度选择所需设置。
温度监测器提供1°C的精度(用于外部二极管),具有复杂的功能,以减少处理器中常见的衬底热二极管晶体管的串联电阻和β变化带来的误差。
EMC2103还包括硬件可编程温度限制和专用系统关闭输出,用于关键电路的热保护。
