MCP1601是一款同步降压开关稳压器，可连续提供500mA负载电流。该DC/DC转换器可以向Vin提供0.9V的输出电压，其工作效率可以超过92%。尽管理想地适用于单个锂离子电池或2至3个电池的NiCd、NiMH或碱性电池操作，但2.7V至5.5V的输入范围也适用于将总线电压转换为标准系统要求。
