The AD7386-4/AD7387-4/AD7388-4 are 16-bit, 14-bit, and 12-bitcompatible, quad, simultaneous sampling, high-speed, successiveapproximation register (SAR), analog-to-digital converters (ADCs)operating from a 3.0 V to 3.3 V power supply with throughput ratesup to 4 MSPS. The single-ended analog input accepts voltage from0 V to V_REF, and is sampled and converted on the falling edge ofCS.

The AD7386-4/AD7387-4/AD7388-4 have on-chip oversamplingblocks to improve dynamic range and reduce noise at lowerbandwidths. The oversampling can boost up to two bits of addedresolution. The REFIO pin can have a reference voltage (V_REF) of2.5 V to 3.3 V.

The conversion process and data acquisition use standard controlinputs, allowing easy interfacing to microprocessors or digital signalprocessors (DSPs). The conversion result can clock out simultaneouslyvia 4-wire mode for faster throughput or via 1-wire serialmode when slower throughput is allowed. The device is compatiblewith 1.8 V, 2.5 V, and 3.3 V interfaces using the separate logicsupply.

The AD7386-4/AD7387-4/AD7388-4 are available in a 24-lead leadframe chip scale package (LFCSP) and operate over a temperaturerange of −40°C to +125°C
