The LT8277 is a 2-phase constant frequency, currentmode boost and SEPIC controller that drives N-channelpower MOSFETs. The 2-phase interleaved operationreduces system filtering capacitance requirements. Aninternal LDO regulator draws power from VIN or VOUT toprovide a 5V supply for the gate drivers. The fixedfrequency, current-mode architecture results in stableoperation over a wide range of supply and outputvoltages. The operating frequency of the LT8277 can beset over a 100kHz to 2MHz range with an externalresistor or can be synchronized to an external clockusing the SYNC pin. The CLKOUT and SYNC pins allowmultiple LT8277 devices to work together, enabling 4- or8-phase operation.
The LT8277 output voltage ranges from 9V to 60V, whichcan be set through the SPI interface. A windowcomparator on the VOUT pin reports via the PGOOD pin,providing an output voltage status indication. Thedevice is available in a 20-Lead 3mm x 4mm side-solderableQFN package.
